Berlin (dpa / bb) – The Berlin Senate anticipates a huge rush for new corona economic aid for small and medium-sized companies. Finance Senator Matthias Kollatz (SPD) assumes that the number of applications will be six digits, as he said on Tuesday after the Senate meeting. Senator for Economic Affairs Ramona Pop (Greens) assumes that around 100,000 companies will submit applications. A so-called bridging aid is planned for companies complaining of at least a 60 percent drop in sales in the corona pandemic. From June to August you can receive a monthly grant of up to EUR 50,000 that does not have to be repaid. Applications should be submitted to the Investitionsbank Berlin from next week.
