Lyon – Belgian professional cyclist Wout van Aert remains in top form after the Corona break. On Wednesday the Jumbo Visma driver won the start of the 72nd edition of the Criterium du Dauphine and celebrated his third victory in August – just four days after his success at Milan-Sanremo. With an impressive sprint on the final climb, he kept the South African Daryl Impey (Mitchelton-Scott) and the surprisingly strong Colombian Egan Bernal (Ineos) in check. The Colombian won the Tour of France in 2019.
