Match time: 09:18

Kenny Omega is available for an interview backstage. He talks about the failure to sign the contract the previous week and his first match against Jon Moxley last year. Moxley was # 1, but things have changed, the cleaner is back. But he knows that he has to win the AEW World Championship to prove it to everyone. At the same time he asks Moxley to leave the hardcore stuff at home, he wants a normal wrestling match. Then we’ll see who is the better of the two. Finally, Omega explains that Moxley’s dad probably wasn’t that tough after all.

After the commercial, we see a video of Darby Allin. He smashes a car with his skateboard and then sets it on fire. Team Taz will be on fire.

2. Match
Singles Match
Powerhouse Hobbs (w / Taz) won against Lee Johnson via pin after a powerslam.
Match time: 02:01

Then Taz grabs a microphone. He praises his protégé, but then sends him backstage because he has something else to address. Taz complains that the FTW title is not accepted and urges management to come out and officially recognize the belt. He refuses to leave the ring, and switching off his mic doesn’t change his mind either. This now calls Cody Rhodes on the scene, who offers him a tag team match in the coming week. But that’s not enough for Taz. Cody’s patience breaks and he makes it personal. If FTW means so much, why does Taz’s son not train with his father but with Cody? Taz then indicates that he wants to leave the ring, but then takes Cody into the Taz mission from behind. The Gunn Club drives out Taz, who runs away with his son.

Eddie Kingston speaks backstage with Alex Marvez about the current events around his group. He’s not mad at the Lucha Brothers, but disappointed. PAC may have won a battle, but not the war. Things have changed in the past few months. Before he can talk any more, Jon Moxley arrives. Kingston makes it clear that he wasn’t responsible for the attack the previous week, and Moxley knows exactly who it was.

3. Match
Tag Team Match
The Hybrid2 (Jack Evans & Angelico) won against Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) via submission from Dante Martin in Angelico’s Navarro Death Roll.
Match time: 11:42

After the match, Angelico doesn’t want to solve the submission hold until the Young Bucks finally make the save.

Backstage we see Vickie Guerrero with Nyla Rose. Vickie reaches out to Brandi Rhodes to discuss the Jade Cargill attack last week. You, Nyla and Jade will do whatever they want. Brandi’s business plan doesn’t seem to be working. The segment ends with a laughing Vickie.

FTR speak in a recorded video about the title match against the Young Bucks on “Full Gear”. They accept their defeat, but it was just a slip up. For 3 seconds the bucks were better. Tully Blanchard also has a say and they promise to get the title back.

4. Match
Tag Team Match
The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & Jake Hager w / Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz, MJF & Wardlow) won against SCU (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) via pin to Christopher Daniels by Jake Hager after the Judas Effect by Chris Jericho.
Match time: 11:01
– Before the finish, the referee was busy with Frankie Kazarian. MJF took advantage of the distraction and hit Daniels with the diamond ring, Jericho then followed up with the Judas Effect and Hager retracted the pin.

Even after the match, the Inner Circle still hasn’t had enough. Before MJF can use the diamond ring again, Scorpio Sky comes out with a chair and sells the heels.

Chris Sabian and Miro now present their new show: “The Miro and Kip Video Game Extravaganza”. Orange Cassidy blows up the party and turns off the console. Then he disappears again. Miro and Sabian run after them, straight into an attack by the Best Friends. The two teams then fight each other through the backstage area.

Now the signing of the contract for the AEW World Championship Match should follow in the coming week, but already at his entrance, Kenny Omega is attacked by Jon Moxley. Mox beats Omega in the ring, puts his belt on the mat and when Omega tries to reach for the title, Moxley steps on his hand. There is another paradigm shift on the belt before the champion asks for a mic. He wonders who Omega hired last week, but they definitely did a bad job. If Omega wants to take someone off again, he’d better turn to Mox, he knows a few guys there. The matter is out of the world for him. Still, he will defend his title next week. If Omega wants to win, then he has to go deep inside and be the type that everyone sees in him. “Win, lose or draw, winter is coming for you, Kenny“. Then Moxley thanks Tony Schiavone for the great segment and signs the contract.

Backstage is the Inner Circle with Alex Marvez. Chris Jericho talks about the absolutely fair victory that was overshadowed by the devious attack by SCU. But the time of the games is over, now they are getting serious again and deal with everyone on the roster. As his first victim he has chosen Frankie Kazarian, whom he will teach a lesson himself next week.

A video package about Anna Jay vs. Hikaru Shida. Jay says she was just a rookie in the first match between the two of them. But now she has a group behind her and is a different person. Tay Conti also has a say, she is sure that her friend will be the next champion. Shida, on the other hand, indicates that her knee is OK and Jay should better bring her A-Game.

5. Match
AEW Womens World Championship
Singles Match
Hikaru Shida (c) won against Anna Jay (/ w Tay Conti & The Dark Order) via pin after a running knee.
Match time: 08:01

Hikaru Shida can only enjoy her victory for a short time, however, because Abadon’s music is playing and she crawls towards the title holder, blood flowing from her mouth. Shida falls back in shock and loses the title belt. Abadon takes the chance and licks the title off.

Backstage, Matt Hardy talks about being the most innovative wrestler in history. 2020 is a tough year, but everyone has to fight. If he can defy all odds, then anyone can conquer his insignificant, little problems. Everyone should be asking, “What would Matt do? Survive and flourish. And win. ”One week, Matt Hardy will be competing in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal.

Also backstage, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage and Powerhouse Hobbs talk about Taz leaving. Starks says they love working for AEW, but they hate Cody. His ego is just too big. Next week they’ll face off against Cody & Darby Allin and teach them a lesson.

Eddie Kingston joins the commentators for the main event.

6. Match
Tag Team Match
The Butcher & The Blade (w / w The Bunny) won against The Death Triangle (PAC & Rey Fenix w / Penta El Zero Miedo) via pin to Rey Fenix after a powerbomb / neckbreaker combination after The Bunny caused a distraction and Eddie Kingston had intervened against Fenix.
Match time: 12:34

Death Triangle continue to be attacked by Kingston’s Family after the match. Bunny pulls out a chair and Kingston gives PAC a DDT on the furniture. Kingston still hasn’t had enough after that and lets PAC taste the stool again. Suddenly the music of Lance Archer sounds and the “Murderhawk Monster” cleans up properly. He first dismantled The Blade before flattening Kingston and Butcher with a crossbody. Commentators try to explain the attack by saying that Kingston may have talked a little too much about Archer. The show ends with a star down between Archer and Kingston.
