DOOM Eternal for the Nintendo Switch has got a release date that is: December 8th, 2020. You don’t need a real business for this, because the title will be published purely digitally, as Bethesda announced a few days ago after pre-order customers of the physical version got their money back.
The switch port was developed in collaboration with Panic Button, the studio behind the Nintendo Switch ports from Doom (2016), Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
There are currently no plans for a physical version of Switch, according to Bethesda. The eShop download should be around 19 GB.
Both single player and combat modes are included in the Switch version, along with a motion control option that uses gyro controls. This can also be used in combination with the joystick, according to Bethesda.
DOOM Eternal was released on March 20, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Although exact sales figures are not available, has DOOM Eternal doubled sales over DOOM (2016).
