The city of Stuttgart reported two sad records on Sunday: Never before had so many people been reported as newly infected on a Sunday. The seven-day incidence value also rises to a new high.
Stuttgart – The first Advent was not a good day for Stuttgart in terms of pandemic: never before have so many new infections with the corona virus been reported in the state capital on a Sunday. There were 123 on the last Sunday in November. The press spokesman Sven Matis announced on Twitter.
Tracking is usually no longer possible
The so-called seven-day incidence value also rose to a new record on the weekend: the value that indicates the average of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants is now 170.6 infections, higher than ever. On Saturday, the State Health Office had given a seven-day incidence of 157.9. A complete tracking of the infection chains has not been possible in Stuttgart for several weeks due to the high number of infections.
