“Crisis Management and Resilience in Germany and Europe”

How do we cope with the crisis? Decision-makers will receive answers to this at this year’s digital economic discussion held by the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) with Professor Lars P. Feld. According to a press release from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the chairman of the economy puts his impetus under the heading “Crisis Management and Resilience in Germany and Europe”. The introductory lecture will be given by Dr. Harald Marquardt, Chairman of the Management Board of the Marquardt Group and IHK Vice President

According to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, three blocks of action are central for decision-makers in 2021: securing economic strength, the ability to cope with crises or proactive progress despite the crisis. IHK members and interested parties will find out which conclusions are necessary for this from the point of view of companies and economic experts on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020. The live stream will start at 7 p.m., interested parties will receive the dial-in link when they register at: www.veranstaltungen- ihk-sbh.de/konjektivengespraech2020.

The second edition of the IHK economic talk is going on. After the automotive expert Dr. Helmut Becker talked about structural change in industry, Professor Feld’s expertise now follows. He is one of the experts for assessing current macroeconomic developments. As chairman of the expert council for the assessment of the macroeconomic situation (in short: the economic wise men) he is also a member of the National Academy Leopoldina. He closely accompanies the economic policy issues of the Covid 19 pandemic.
