If Cyberpunk 2077 is available in a few days, then the game is known to rely exclusively on the single player part. A multiplayer is also planned for the future – and according to the makers it should be quite tough.
In an interview, Adam Kicinski from CD Projekt RED once again commented on the planned multiplayer part of Cyberpunk 2077 – and certainly stirs up expectations. Fans can therefore look forward to a pretty epic gaming experience.
Reason: The developers themselves see not only a new mode in multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077, which will be released on December 10th. Rather, CD Projekt RED sees it as an “independent product”.
“First of all, we don’t call this mode. It’s a stand-alone, dedicated production, a really big production,” said Kicinski. “We really think of it as a stand-alone product.”
The multiplayer part will be connected to the single player release later, but will function completely independently. A separate team worked on making new game content available on an ongoing basis.
The reason why there haven’t been any great details about this part of the franchise to date is simply due to the fact that the actual main game isn’t available yet. Before looking to the next cyberpunk content, gamers should first be given the opportunity to explore and enjoy the main game.
According to Kicinski, more information about the multiplayer aspect of Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be revealed in the first quarter of 2021.
