Who else should see?
Not only the residents of North Rhine-Westphalia are wondering this today at the latest: In the state parliament in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia boss Armin Laschet said that relatives may very well stay in hotels at Christmas so that up to ten relatives do not have to squeeze into one apartment! Chancellery chief Helge Braun said in an RTL interview on Thursday morning: We were considering whether the hotels could be opened as part of a visit to relatives so that it wouldn’t take place on the couch at home. But we have come to the conclusion that you cannot control that. And tourist trips are definitely not allowed. “

Are “tourist accommodation offers” a matter of interpretation?
According to the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, German citizens are allowed to stay in hotels over Christmas during family visits. Tourist travel is prohibited, but people who visit families on the holidays and do not have a place to sleep are allowed to use hotels, said Laschet. With such a family visit “it is possible that you will also stay in a hotel”.
