A 34-year-old in Berlin-Köpenick was unable to show a receipt for 86 bars of chocolate. The shop detective of the Aldi branch in Müggelheimer Strasse was able to catch the alleged thief on Saturday and hold it until the police arrived, as a press spokesman for the authority told t-online.
Pre-Christmas fall for ours # A36 in #Köpenick:
Alleged stolen goods from a 34-year-old: including 86 bars of chocolate.
The shop detective didn’t think that was cute.
Even Santa Claus would probably find it difficult to explain in the retail trade with such quantities without a receipt.
