About Sam Noah Honegger
- Noah Sam Honegger has stuttered since childhood – the only exception is singing.
- Noah Sam can already inspire the coaches in the blind auditions and sings in team Stefanie and Yvonne.
- In the battle, Noah Sam wins against Marvin Scondo and thus moves into the sing-offs.
Noah Sam: Music is his language
Life has not always been easy for Noah Sam – stuttering still presents him with many challenges in everyday life. On stage, however, he can escape it and express himself in a very special way. Noah Sam performs the song “Hurt” in the sing-offs of “The Voice of Germany” 2020 and is enthusiastic: “It’s also about the times when it is not so easy and I can get along with mine Identify history very well. ” Coach Stefanie Kloß shares this opinion: “Music is his language and there is no more perfect song than that. He understands what he is talking about when he sings this song.”
Noah Sam is looking forward to his appearance in the Sing-Offs. “When I can touch someone, that’s the most beautiful compliment you can give me,” enthuses the talent. The musician also gets more uplifting words from Stefanie: “I have the feeling that he is revealing his story to us and allowing us to be bluntly and openly part of it. It will be a very emotional moment in this program.”
Lots of emotion, tears and a speechless audience
With her suspicion of an emotional moment, coach Stefanie is said to be right. Noah Sam’s performance on the song “Hurt” by Johnny Cash is unique and incredibly touching. After his appearance there is one thing above all: silence. The whole studio doesn’t make a sound for a short while.
Noah Sam reached everyone with his music and Yvonne Catterfeld is even moved to tears. There is also praise and recognition from the other coaches. “You are a very, very exciting person. Millions of viewers have fallen in love with you – and rightly so. I think you just opened all hearts on” Hurt “without really trying,” enthuses Rea Garvey.
Nico Santos is also impressed: “You touched everyone, everyone here. You looked into the hall and everyone was just blown away. For me you are one of the most touching people I was able to get to know here at this time, and I think people will still hear a lot, a lot from you. ” What do you think Yvonne and Stefanie say about the performance of their talent?

Yvonne Catterfeld: “You are a present for this show.”
His coach duo also finds enthusiastic words for Noah Sam’s performance. “What is ‘The Voice’? ‘The Voice’ is something that cannot be copied, that cannot be learned, but that opens up a magic. And if anything in you asks itself a question whether you belong here or whether the songs you write have a place here. They definitely have, “praises Stefanie.
Yvonne is also blown away by Noah Sam’s performance: “I just think you’re incredibly inspiring. I think you’re a role model for many and we’re just grateful that you are on our team, that we were able to get to know you. You are a gift for this show. ” But is its performance enough for a hot seat?
Hot seat and semi-final ticket for Noah Sam
After his soulful performance, a lot of praise and even more enthusiasm, it is no surprise that Noah Sam gets a hot seat in the Stefanie and Yvonne team – but these are both already taken. Which talent has to give way? The coaches have to send someone home with a heavy heart.
“We have to make a decision and it hurts us very, very, very much. Maria, you are one of the greatest women and singers here, but I think we have to give Noah your place,” said Yvonne sadly. At the end of the performances of all the talents from Team Yvonne and Stefanie, Noah Sam is still on one of the hot seats and can thus secure a place in the semi-finals. For him, the journey continues with “The Voice of Germany” in the live shows.
