Oppo presents 5G smartphone for 300 euros and a new entry-level model


The Oppo A73 5G is one of the cheapest smartphones with which 5G can be used. The A15 is another entry-level model.

The Chinese manufacturer Oppo is continuously expanding its smartphone portfolio: Now there is the A73 5G in the mid-range and the A15 for beginners. Both will be available from December 1st.

The Oppo A73 5G is 5G-capable with the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset. At 177 grams, the case is quite light and 7.9 millimeters slim, but there is still a battery with 4,040 mAh. The smartphone also has a side fingerprint sensor, a 6.5-inch display with 120 Hz, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of data storage.

The rear triple camera has a 16-megapixel main lens as well as lenses for wide-angle and monochrome shots, the front cam offers 8 megapixels. The Oppo A73 5G costs 299 euros, until the end of December it is available exclusively from Expert for 249 euros.

The Oppo A15 for 139 euros is aimed primarily at beginners. It has a rear triple camera with a 13 megapixel main lens, plus lenses for close-ups and depth of field. Further features are a 5-megapixel front cam, a 6.5-inch display, a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, a 4,230 mAh battery, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of data storage that can be expanded via MicroSD.
