Kiel (dpa / lno) – Schleswig-Holstein’s state government passed a new state ordinance on Sunday to contain the corona virus.
Easings apply from Monday to body-hugging services and outdoor animal and game parks, as the Ministry of Health announced. The reason for the adjustment of the regulation were resolutions of the Prime Minister and Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) on Wednesday. Because of the low seven-day incidence of less than 50 in the north in a nationwide comparison, the country is taking a special route.
The state government is sticking to its ten-person contact rule including Christmas and New Year’s Eve. This means that a maximum of ten people from two households can meet in public. In the private sector, there should be a maximum of ten people, the recommendation is two households – children included. The state does not accept the stricter federal-state regulation until Christmas with a maximum of five people from two households plus children up to 14 years.
“We are now at a point where we can all have a little more confidence and optimism again,” said Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU). With their behavior, the North Germans have been helping to keep the corona pandemic manageable for months.
From Monday, nail, cosmetic and massage studios may offer their services subject to hygiene requirements. A visit to animal parks, zoos and wildlife parks is then also possible. These are allowed to reopen outside areas. However, the state government is expanding the obligation to wear a mouth and nose covering. For example, it must also be worn in train stations or forecourt and at bus stops.
The regulation is valid until December 20th.
