The snow, the castle, the music: the fairy tale film “Three hazelnuts for Cinderella” is cult for many and will be shown particularly often on TV in 2020. Almost 20 times!
The classic fairy tale can be seen repeatedly on ARD channels between the first Advent (November 29th) and Epiphany (January 6th). The first shows him three times, starting on November 29th at 2:03 p.m.
Fans can actually watch the film all year round – because it is available on various streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, TVnow and MagentaTV (in the flat rate). For Christmas Eve alone, the film is on the program six times, around noon on Das Erste and at prime time from 8:15 p.m. on WDR.
The fairy tale film from 1973 (co-production of the former CSSR and GDR) is cult for millions of people at Christmas time. One of the main locations was Moritzburg Castle near Dresden. The film exhibition that is common there in winter has been canceled this time due to corona.
The main roles were played by Libuse Safránková (now 67), Prince Pavel Trávnícek (now 70) and the king, Rolf Hoppe, who died in November 2018.
