Apple keeps its word and will definitely launch Apple Fitness + later this year. And the publication of the new fitness service is expected shortly, because trainers are currently allowed to advertise the service. Namely these are Kim Ngo, Betina Gozo, Amir Ekbatani, Scott Carvin, Bakari Williams, Jhon Gonzalez, Emily Fayette, Josh Crosby, Jessica Skye, Jamie-Ray Hartshorne, Kyle Ardill, Ben Allen, Kym Perfetto, Tyrell Désean, Sherica Holmon, LaShawn Jones, Dustin Brown, Sam Sanchez, Gregg Cook, Molly Fox and Anja Garcia.
This is fitness +
According to Apple, Fitness + is the first fitness experience developed for the Apple Watch that records and evaluates measured values with the watch. You can watch the workout on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV and train with the trainers.
With the help of individually adapted recommendations, Fitness + takes already completed workouts into account and intelligently suggests further options. These either match the most frequently selected types of training by the user or offer new training options to compensate for current routine exercises.
As soon as a workout is selected and started on the iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, the appropriate workout type starts automatically on the Apple Watch. During the training session, the readings from the Apple Watch are displayed on the screen and provide additional motivation. For example, this information will appear on the screen when the trainer says to check the heart rate or starts a countdown timer. If users want to push themselves with a little competition, the optional burn bar shows the current efforts compared to everyone else who has already done the same training.
Apple Fitness + will launch the most popular types of exercise: cycling, treadmill, rowing, HIIT, strength, yoga, dance, core and mindful cool down. Each type of training is accompanied by music curated by the trainers. Every week you can discover new trainings in different disciplines, music genres and training duration, which the team of trainers from Fitness + delivers directly from the studio.
At launch, Apple Fitness + will be available in Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. Apple Fitness + costs $ 9.99 per month and is also included in the Apple One Premier subscription that is not available here. It is still unclear whether and when Fitness + will also come to Germany.
