Frankfurt University Clinic offers Corona training for nurses. Thanks to numerous donations, the training is free.
The Frankfurt University Clinic offers medical and nursing staff pandemic training. The aim is not only to better prepare the medical staff for the current requirements of the treatment and care of Covid 19 patients, but also to make them professionally familiar with future local or global infection processes, the university clinic announced.
The four-stage program combines theory and practice and teaches the necessary skills actively and interprofessionally in the entire medical team. This includes realistic training in the simulation hospital at Goethe University. The training is suitable for staff in the nursing and elderly care, medical practices and emergency services.
The further training is financially supported by 14 Rotary clubs from the Rhine-Main area, among others, who donated 240,000 euros so that the training can be offered free of charge.
