After the referee’s criticism: Keeper Baumann threatens aftermath

The DFB determined against Hoffenheim’s Bundesliga goalkeeper Oliver Baumann because of his referee scolding at 1: 4 in Leverkusen. The control committee of the German Football Association has initiated an investigation against the 30-year-old, as the association announced on Monday.

After the defeat of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Baumann complained to the new front runner Bayer on Sunday evening about referee Martin Petersen (Stuttgart), who showed Florian Grillitsch and Stefan Posch yellow-red cards. In the Sky interview, Baumann said after the final whistle: “It’s very bitter to have played against twelve.” The DFB asked Baumann to comment, after which a decision will be made on how to proceed.
