After vaccination start: RKI expands corona numbers in Germany – guide

According to its own statements, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) will now also publish the number of people currently vaccinated against the coronavirus in Germany.

The data on the Covid-19 vaccination are collected in the vaccination centers and by the mobile vaccination teams. From now on, authorized personnel can enter the data there via the web application “Digital vaccination rate monitoring” and transmit it to Bundesdruckerei daily via a secure internet connection, announced the RKI. The data would be temporarily stored in the Bundesdruckerei and accessed daily by the RKI.

The RKI gives the total number of vaccinations up to and including December 27th as 18,454. The number does not include those vaccinated in Hessen. According to BILD information, no data has been transmitted from the state. North Rhine-Westphalia is currently ahead with 5405 people vaccinated – almost two thirds of them are residents of nursing and old people’s homes.
