As part of the current strategy program, the airline has announced the amalgamation of corporate divisions in order to better utilize synergies within and reduce management positions. Now the marketing and product areas have been merged. Sebastian Lüttmann (40) will take over the management of the new Brand Experience division from February 1, 2021. He, who is currently still in charge of passenger care and aircraft handling at Austrian Airlines in Vienna, will in future be responsible for the entire marketing and product management of the Austrian airline.
The two areas of revenue control and network planning will also be merged. The current head of network planning, Robert Heusmann (45), will take over the management of the newly established Network Management & Revenue Steering division from February 1, 2021. He is therefore responsible for network planning as well as controlling prices and revenues at Austrian Airlines.
