The district of Vorpommern-Greifswald reported the most new infections at 20. The Mecklenburg Lake District registered 11 new cases on Monday.
The district of Northwest Mecklenburg recorded eight new corona cases on Monday, seven came from Ludwigslust-Parchim and five from Western Pomerania-Rügen. The city and the district of Rostock reported two and four new cases and Schwerin one.

Seven-day incidence continues to rise
The seven-day incidence, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, is, according to the Lagus figures, a total of 51.9 in all of MV, on Sunday it was still 50.6. From a value of 50, regions are officially considered to be corona risk areas. This has been true for all of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since Sunday.

According to the Lagus, the 7-day incidence nationwide is highest in the Mecklenburg Lake District at 79.8, followed by Western Pomerania-Greifswald with 76.8. Schwerin has an incidence of 72.1, Ludwigslust-Parchim is given as 68.9. Northwest Mecklenburg is listed in the Lagus report with 60.4.

Only the districts of Western Pomerania-Rügen (30.7) and Rostock (15.8) and the city of Rostock (16.7) have a 7-day incidence well below the limit of 50.
134 people in MV are currently being treated in hospitals (+11), 38 of them are in intensive care units – eight more than the day before.
