Dealers surprise customers with sweet greetings

The Christmas market in Werne would normally have been open for four days. But this year the popular market will be canceled due to the corona pandemic, like most events in the Lippe city. Nevertheless, it should be Christmas in the city. In addition to the lighting, which gives Werne a special glow in the dark hours, there is now another surprise.

And it turns out delicious. On Tuesday (December 8th) there are sweet Nicholas greetings at the weekly market in Werne. Werne Marketing announced this on Monday morning. Since St. Nicholas is not allowed to visit the weekly market as usual due to the current pandemic, the market traders have considered an alternative.

Thank you from the traders at the weekly market in Werne

“It should be a sweet treat for the customers of the weekly market”, explains David Ruschenbaum from Werne Marketing and adds: “The customers of the weekly market need to be thanked because they remain loyal to the dealers during the difficult times.”
The weekly market is open from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Wearing mouth and nose protection is still mandatory. The consumption of snacks in the market is also still prohibited. Potato pancakes, fish rolls and the like are packed by the traders so that customers can eat the snack at home or at least 50 meters from the weekly market.
