The long-distance bus provider Flixbus will temporarily be offering connections again from December 17th. In Germany, 150 destinations will then be approached, as the company announced on Thursday in Munich.
The offer is initially limited until January 11th. Flixbus temporarily ceased operations on November 3rd due to the new corona contact restrictions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In addition to large cities such as Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne, the departure and arrival locations with the start of school holidays and public holidays also include numerous small cities, it said. In addition, trips to neighboring countries are offered.
Flixbus pointed out that travel should continue to be restricted after the turn of the year in order to counteract the further spread of the corona virus. After January 11th, the connection network will be “dynamically adapted to the situation in the new year,” said managing director André Schwämmlein.
