On Monday, the two handed out wild boar goulash, red cabbage and dumplings from a food truck financed by Frank Zander. There were also gift bags with flashlights, warm stockings, salami, chocolate and other donations for the people.

Zander and his son Marcus usually organize a Christmas party for around 3000 homeless and needy people at the Estrel Hotel Berlin with the help of hundreds of volunteers. Many celebrities lend a hand, including the former district mayor of Neukölln, Franziska Giffey. This year it would have been the 26th celebration. The event is canceled due to the pandemic.
