Aleksander Aamodt Kilde has one at the Ski World Cup in Val Gardena Favoritensieg and celebrated its first success this season. The Norwegian sat in the Super-G with one on Friday Lead of 12 hundredths of a second ahead of the Swiss Mauro Caveziel, third was another Norwegian with Kjetil Jansrud.
Matthias mayer scraped fourth 13 hundredths past the podium. His ÖSV teammates Vincent Kriechmayr and Max Franz missed the top ten.
With that the Dominance of the Scandinavians in South Tyrol. In the Super-G, the Norwegians triumphed in seven of the past nine races on the Saslong slope.
For Kilde it was the second victory in Val Gardena after winning the downhill in 2018. Overall it was that fifth success in the world cup for the 28-year-old overall World Cup winner of the previous season. The departure in Val Gardena will take place tomorrow, Saturday (11.45 a.m. / live ORF 1).
