The MTV Movie & TV Awards ran quite differently this year for obvious reasons: Instead of honoring the best actors, films and series of the last 12 months, this time it was about “The best of all time”.
The late “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020) was awarded the “Hero for the Ages” trophy by his “Avengers” co-stars Don Cheadle (56) and Robert Downey Jr. (55), as ” Hero for Eternity “honored. “Wonder Woman” Gal Gadot (35) received the “She-Ro” award, while Kevin Hart (41) was named “Comedy Giant”. In addition, Sarah Michelle Gellar (43) and Selma Blair (48) were honored for their cult kiss in “Ice Cold Angels” from 1999.
The awards also honored Kevin Bacon (62) for his dance performance in “Footloose”, Drew Barrymore (45) and Adam Sandler (54) as “Dynamic Duo” and Jamie Lee Curtis (62) was named “Scream Queen”. Jason Segel (40) and Kristen Bell (40) went through the worst breakup on screen in “Never Again Sex With Your Ex”. From “Zero to Hero” William Zabka (55) aka Johnny Lawrence made it in “Karate Kid” and “Cobra Kai”.
