The police at Frankfurt Airport became aware of a passenger in uniform. The officers made a strange find in his luggage.
At the Frankfurt airport, the police picked up a man in a counterfeit army general uniform. The 74-year-old was sleeping on one of the benches, as the federal police announced on Friday in Frankfurt. He told the officials that he wanted to fly to Istanbul and give a gun to a Turkish general there. The police actually found a rusted bayonet in the pensioner’s luggage.
They forbade the 74-year-old from leaving the country on Thursday and initiated an investigation against him. The man had been noticed several times in the past for various weapons and violent crimes.
