Remi – buy, move on, enjoy – BZ Berlin

The Remi restaurant in Torstrasse had just opened when it had to close again.

Now there is the corona-compatible version of the product-focused kitchen on the ground floor of Suhrkamp Verlag to take away.

In addition to dishes to heat up and eat at home, such as truffle lasagna, there are also changing sandwiches on hand.

From a safe distance you can watch the boys in the open kitchen as they carefully, even lovingly, slowly toast the bread and carefully place it.

I take a so-called sub (it’s called that because it has the shape of an English submarine, a submarine) with warm meatballs in a mild tomato sauce for 8 euros. Delicious!

This time there is a version with porchetta, the hearty Italian roast pork, on it. If you like, you can still take natural wines, beer from Berlin or homemade delicacies such as pesto with you. The mulled wine and alcohol-free punch also smell wonderful.

A mini Christmas market with friendly Berlin manufacturers was actually planned for Saturday (12th) – that has now been discarded. The rule is: don’t stand still, buy, move on, enjoy.

Saturdays noon to 5 p.m. Torstrasse 48. Center.
