In 2018/19 Austria’s women’s ski team was in a class of its own in the speed area. The fight for the small crystal ball in the descent was a red-white-red three-way battle that Nicole Schmidhofer won. The ÖSV team was unable to confirm this historic success in the past, shortened corona winter due to injuries and illnesses. And even before the first speed weekend in St. Moritz, the team is decimated, but the Austrians won’t let themselves be beaten.
