Bookable from Tuesday
The vaccine against the coronavirus is here. With the start of the nationwide vaccination campaign, appointments are now being made for the Karlsruhe vaccination center (ZIZ). This is how the award works:
Vaccinations against the coronavirus have started nationwide since Sunday, December 27th. At the same time there was a test run in the vaccination center Messe Karlsruhe (ZIZ). The first time windows for regular operation are now enabled. The city of Karlsruhe announced this on Monday evening.
These will be bookable from Tuesday, December 29th, for those in the first group who want to be vaccinated. This group, in accordance with Section 2 of the Coronavirus Vaccination Ordinance, includes, for example, people over 80 years of age, residents of care facilities and highly exposed hospital and nursing staff. The dates are then activated for the following weeks.
The number of time slots is based on the resources in terms of vaccine, personnel or other factors and is checked and updated daily. The city of Karlsruhe points out in the notification that appointments are not regulated locally by the ZIZ. There is a central vaccination service for this. People who want to be vaccinated against the coronavirus are assigned to a vaccination center. And this is how the appointments can be booked:
• via www.116117.de (or directly https://www.impfterminservice.de/impftermine)
• via the app 116117
• via the telephone hotline 116117. The callers are forwarded from there to a call center.
• Deaf people can get an appointment via video telephony via the website. The following link has not yet been activated: https://sozialministerium.baden-wuerttemberg.de/de/gesundheitpflege/gesundheitsschutz/infektionsschutz-hygiene/informationen-zu-coronavirus/videochat-gebaerdenssprache/
A quick check of the eligibility for vaccination takes place when the appointment is made.
