Potsdam / Berlin (dpa / bb) – The new week starts in Berlin and Brandenburg in some places with ice and frost – drivers should therefore drive carefully. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Berliners and Brandenburgers should generally be prepared for changeable weather with cold temperatures this week. In addition to black ice and frost on Monday morning, the DWD expects a strong cloud cover during the day. Especially in the southern half of Brandenburg there can be light rain or sleet in the evening. The thermometer shows a maximum of between two and five degrees.

Also on Tuesday thick clouds dominate the sky and there could be snow or sleet at two to six degrees. The snow will probably not stay long, however, as it should often be clear and dry on Wednesday. At a maximum of four degrees it gets cold again.

The weather experts expect on cloudy Thursday that it will be wet again at times. The temperatures hardly change compared to the previous day.
