Yukiya Sato surprisingly wins the first qualification of the weekend for the Four Hills Tournament dress rehearsal in Engelberg. Only five out of seven DSV ski jumpers qualify for the first individual competition, Markus Eisenbichler shows the best performance.
With a jump to xxx meters, Yukiya Sato secured victory in the qualification for the first of two individual competitions this weekend. The Japanese scored a total of 153 points on Friday evening and prevailed against the Pole Piotr Zyla, who came to 132.5 meters (152.4 p.). Third place went to overall World Cup leader Halvor Egnar Granarud with the best distance of 139 meters (149 pts).
