After PSG’s Supercup triumph: Neymar mocks Gonzalez, who describes the Brazilian as rubbish.
The arguments between Neymar and Alvaro Gonzalez go into the next round. After PSG’s narrow 2-1 win in the French Supercup on Wednesday, Neymar made fun of the Marseille defender and tweeted: “King Alvaro, huh?”
The Spaniard countered with little charm. “My parents taught me to always take out the garbage,” he wrote about a picture from the game in which he holds Neymar by the head. The Brazilian replied: “Unfortunately, they forgot to teach you how to win titles.”
Gonzalez then tweeted a photo of Brazil’s legend Pelé with the words: “The eternal shadow of the king.”
Neymar had already clashed with Gonzalez in September when he accused him of racially insulting him during a game. Neymar saw red shortly before the end after hitting Gonzalez in the back of the head.
“The only thing I regret is that I didn’t hit that asshole in the face,” raged Neymar after the game. Gonzalez had denied the allegations.
