When Gretel Döbrich pushes the handle of the green iron gate, she says goodbye to the noise and hectic of Berlin. Just a few steps to the left, she comes to the final resting place of her dead pets. Döbrich enjoys the silence when she stands in front of the white grave light. Hardly a sound can be heard.
The flame of the candle shines under the transparent plastic. She should remember her tomcat Tilly and her cat Jule.
