Another lane blocked at the Rotes Rathaus

At the bottleneck Grunerstraße corner Stralauer Straße there has been a traffic jam in rush hour traffic since the early hours of the morning on Monday.  The  reason for this is the blocking of the left lane into town a few meters before the intersection in the direction of Potsdamer Platz. It is unclear why the traffic routing was changed here. Drivers reported a backlog up to Otto-Braun-Strasse just before the intersection with Mollstrasse at around 5:40 a.m.

 The  Berlin traffic information center also reports the unusually early traffic jam. “In Mitte, traffic jams of +15 minutes on Grunerstraße in the direction of Potsdamer Platz have built up,” VIZ announced in the early morning on Twitter.
