© www.de24.news The  epidemiologist Dirk Brockmann from the Berlin Humboldt University pleads for a further reduction in contacts in view of the pandemic.

All current calculation models showed that this was necessary, Brockmann said on Friday on the RBB Inforadio.

Mobility should be more restricted and – where possible – more people should go to the home office. Despite the lockdown, there is rush hour traffic in the mornings and evenings in large cities like Berlin, and people are on their way to work and to the office in local public transport. “We really have to take a close look at everything,” said Brockmann: “This is the only way out of these high numbers.”
