AC Milan is having trouble getting Mohamed Simakan’s planned commitment under wraps.
The reason for this is the specific interest from the Bundesliga. Above all, RB Leipzig is doing its best to get the 20-year-old central defender of Racing Strasbourg. Simakan’s recent injury and the associated two-month absence will not change that.

After FT-Information wants Leipzig to bring the deal to the stage promptly and lures Strasbourg with a concession. RB would like to sign Simakan now and then park with Racing for another six months.
The youngster could help the Ligue 1 club in the end of the season and Leipzig would have an early replacement for Dayot Upamecano (22) for the coming season, who will probably not be sustainable.
Borussia Dortmund wants to drive Saxony into the parade. As FT has learned, the black and yellow have concretized their interest in the past few hours.
The advance of BVB could come too late, however, because the Simakan camp is pushing for an early decision.
