Hafeninsel I and Marina go to LBBW Immobilien Development

Dhe CA Immo and Mainzer Stadtwerke, as joint venture partners of Zollhafen Mainz GmbH, notarized the sale of the “Hafeninsel I” and “Marina” plots to LBBW Immobilien Development GmbH shortly before the end of the year. According to a broadcast, the sales price (50 percent share) is well above the last CA Immo book value for the third quarter of 2020.  The  closing of the transaction is planned for the course of the first quarter of 2021.

On an area of ​​around 30 hectares, a mixed-use quarter with living space for around 2,500 people and around 4,000 jobs will be built in the new Zollhafen Mainz district by 2025. On the sold properties in the immediate vicinity of the marina of the new Zollhafen Mainz district, 13,250 m² of floor space for residential and commercial use can be realized. ©

 The  joint venture partners CA Immobilien Deutschland GmbH and Mainzer Stadtwerke are responsible for the overall development of the district. In addition, CA Immo is realizing individual projects on site, such as the ZigZag office building (to be completed in 2021) and – in a joint venture with UBM – the Kaufmannshof residential and office building (construction will start in summer 2020).
