According to head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, it will take “a little longer” before Clinton Mola can again represent an option for VfB Stuttgart. The 19-year-old is currently working his way up again after a hip injury.
“Yesterday he took part in the warming up in our training session for the first time”, Matarazzo initially had positive news at the press conference on Friday. “We made good progress last week. I would be happy if things continued to move quickly. But that is not yet certain,” said the coach.
When Mola can get fully back on track, it is always a matter of “his symptoms, pain sensation and stability”. However, the Swabian coach does not believe in a quick comeback: “That will take time.”
The midfielder fell out for a long time after a fatigue reaction in the hip area.
