Corona: Health authorities create the perfect false start

Dhe January 17th was a deadline – actually. On this date, the infection numbers should be “reliable again”, as Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and Lothar Wieler, head of the Robert Koch Institute, announced at the beginning of January. Why it should take almost three weeks to clear the backlog of public holidays was not explained.

 The  reason is obvious: the delayed digitization and individual communal corridors of the health authorities. This is exactly the reason why the current infection numbers after the deadline of January 17th are again not meaningful.
