Corona memorial event planned at the Brandenburg Gate

Berlin. On July 3, 2021, a corona memorial ceremony with up to 50,000 participants is to take place in Berlin under the motto “We hold together”. The co-organizer of the event, Bianka Aversente, announced on Friday.
The event has already been registered with the police by CDU politician Steffen Helbing and is to take place in front of the Brandenburg Gate and on Straße des 17. Juni.
“We want to send a nationwide signal that nobody is alone in this situation,” said Aversente. The commemoration is intended to give people hope.

To this end, she is planning a top-class program together with Helbing and the two co-organizers Heike Steimann and Stephan-Michael Weiß.
The vision goes so far that the event should be broadcast internationally. It should take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Well-known personalities such as the actor and voice actor Reiner Schöne (Darth Vader in Star Wars: Episode III) are said to have appearances. Musicians are also planned.
In addition, artist supervisor Stephan-Michael Weiß is planning a fashion show.

According to the organizers, the aim of the Corona commemoration is to collect donations for the artist scene.
