Samsung Galaxy S21: SIM slot becomes a danger
The hole to release the SIM slot is mirrored in the housing on the other side and can be confused too easily. If you are not careful, you can hit the wrong hole and destroy the waterproof properties of the smartphone. This is what the design of the bottom of the Galaxy S21 looks like:
When setting up the Samsung Galaxy S21, it almost happened to me that, out of habit, I would not have used the outer but inner hole to get the SIM slot out of the case. On many Samsung phones, the hole for opening the SIM slot is on the inside and not on the outside. It can quickly happen that you hit the wrong hole and damage the cell phone. If this causes water damage, it is of course a user error that is not covered by the warranty. Too often you will not open the SIM slot any more, as a microSD card can no longer be inserted, but a single mistake can damage the mobile phone.
