The  country has now tightened the regulations. Stuttgart wants to help the home porters find staff for tests and controls. But there is criticism: employees and visitors would have to be tested on site every day.

Stuttgart – Despite the renewed lockdown and stricter protection requirements for nursing homes since December, the number of new infections with the corona virus is still high in Stuttgart facilities. More than 200 active infections were counted this Friday, that is 18 percent of all current cases. © www.de24.news

The  actual importance of the nursing homes in the infection process can only be seen from the number of deaths. Of the 209 people who have died with or from the virus registered in Stuttgart since the beginning of the pandemic, around half were residents. And the number will soon rise again by a high double-digit value, because the formalities of the things that differ over Christmas and New Year are now settled.
