Health – Berlin – 346 new corona infections reported in Hesse – Health

Berlin / Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) – In Hessen, 346 new corona infections were reported within one day. According to data from the Berlin Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Monday, the number of cases registered since the beginning of the pandemic is 166,219. 4,412 deaths have been associated with the virus, 24 more than the day before (as of 00:00 ).  The  incidence as an important indicator of new infections in seven days per 100,000 inhabitants was 111.7 nationwide.

 The  district of Fulda continued to have the highest seven-day incidence in the regions with 281.4, in the Rheingau-Taunus district it was 62.0.

 The  number of cases is usually lower on Mondays because there is less testing on the weekend.

Last Monday, the number of registered new corona infections within one day was 422 and the nationwide seven-day incidence was 129.3.
