Berlin (AP) – Ex-national player Jürgen Kohler does not currently see the Bundesliga at its highest level.
The 55-year-old former national soccer player is tying it to his former club Borussia Dortmund. The number of defeats Borussia lost up to the 15th matchday was astonishing. BVB has already left the field five times without points. “It is even more astonishing that Dortmund still has the chance to play at the front. This shows that the league is currently not doing what it can actually do,” Kohler told the portals “spox.com” and “goal.com”.
The 1990 world champion said that Borussia would have to win a title in the next two or three years given their potential. When asked what the chances are this season, Kohler replied: “If Dortmund has a run, then they have enormous quality and great potential forwards. The problem is the way back.” On (today) Saturday (6.30 p.m.) the Dortmunders have to compete at RB Leipzig.
