Stephanie Seymour (52) is currently experiencing dark hours. As US media report, her son Harry Brant († 24) was found dead on Sunday. His family has since confirmed that the death was an accident. Brant died of a pill overdose.
The son of Seymour and billionaire Peter Brant (73) had struggled with an addiction problem for years.
“We will be forever sad that his life has been shortened by this devastating disease,” the statement said. “He has achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we’ll never get a chance to see how much more Harry could have done. He was a wonderful brother, a loving grandson, favorite uncle and caring friend. ”
Arrested in 2016 for drug possession
It was known that Brant was not averse to drugs. In 2016, he refused to pay a taxi driver. When the police showed up, he was eventually arrested for, among other things, drug possession. According to his family, he wanted to go to a rehab clinic this year.
The 24-year-old was known in New York high society. Like Seymour, he also worked as a model and wrote articles for “Interview”, his father’s magazine, as a teenager. His mother was one of the most famous models of the 80s and 90s. Rock fans also know Seymour from her short relationship with Guns’n’Roses singer Axl Rose (58). Seymour was seen in the music videos “Don’t Cry” and “November Rain”. Harry Brant’s father Peter turned his father’s paper company into a billion-dollar company and invested in publishing, among other things. (klm)
