The story, a gallery (artwork, music, videos) and the “GG World” as an extensive Guilty Gear database for the 20th anniversary are named as offline modes. In the online lobby you will be able to create your own avatar and compete against players from around the world. Communication is implemented via chat and emotes. A skill-based rating system, which is based not only on the outcome of the match, but also on the automated evaluation of the players’ skills in the matches, should be used and classify the players according to their skills. Otherwise there are “Fast Matches” and “Player Matches” with up to nine participants. Online mode uses the same netcode as Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R (Steam).
