Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – The state will provide places in two clinics in Stuttgart and Heidelberg for those who refuse to quarantine in Baden-Württemberg.
This emerges from a letter from the Ministry of Health to the police and health authorities, which is available to the German Press Agency. Accordingly, accommodation options for so-called compulsory secretions will be set up in the Robert Bosch Clinic Schillerhöhe and in the Heidelberg University Clinic. In principle, however, city and rural districts themselves should provide suitable rooms and means of transport as well as staff to accommodate those who refuse to quarantine.
Health Minister Manne Lucha (Greens) and Interior Minister Thomas Strobl (CDU) agreed on how to deal with them at the beginning of December. According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, there are only a few cases.
The target group are stubborn, fines-insensitive people who willfully accept infecting other people with Corona. For a compulsory admission, however, a court order is necessary, it says in the letter.
