The nine-story building complex at Admiralstrasse 37 has been disconnected from the gas supply since December 15th. The tenants are angry. Many families with children live in the house. It is not clear when it will be possible to cook normally again here.

The only information is a piece of paper with an illegible note on the front door,” says tenant F. (27).
The landlord could not give a date for the end of the repair. It is difficult to get skilled craftsmen in pandemic times. “Unfortunately, the cause of the gas smell has not yet been localized,” said a company spokeswoman.
The residents are entitled to an electronic hotplate, but this information did not reach all tenants. Nine records have not yet been picked up from the gatekeeper.
Tenant F. only found out about this at the beginning of January during one of his numerous calls to the landlord. “I am single and speak German. Unfortunately, my neighbors with five children don’t, ”he says.
