In the last 24 hours, over 1,200 new corona cases were reported in Austria. 255 sick people are cared for in intensive care units.
So far there have been 446,644 positive test results in Austria. As of today (February 22, 2021, 9:30 a.m.) 8,397 people across Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 421,811 have recovered.
The re are currently 1,309 people in hospital treatment due to the coronavirus. Of these, 255 are cared for in intensive care units.
1,270 new corona cases reported in Austria
The new infections in the federal states since yesterday’s report:
- Burgenland: 61
- Carinthia: 58
- Lower Austria: 290
- Oberösterreich: 237
- Salzburg: 65
- Steiermark: 220
- Tirol: 52
- Vorarlberg: 27
- Wien: 260
