After engine failure: US aviation authorities announce examination

After an engine failure on a Boeing 777, the FAA intends to intensify checks with a corresponding component.  The  airline United announced that it would shut down affected machines for the time being.

After the engine failure of a Boeing 777 not far from Denver in the state of Colorado, the US aviation authority FAA has announced consequences. United Airlines announced that it will immediately voluntarily remove 24 Pratt & Whitney 4000 Series Boeing 777 aircraft from its flight plan as a precautionary measure.
