A 33-year-old was rescued in Hanover through an emergency operation. A stranger injured the man critically with stings on Monday evening at the Maschsee in Hanover.
The investigators are still looking for the perpetrator. They also evaluate testimony and objects that divers have found on the bottom of the lake. A police dog was also used to ensure there was evidence. The police have not yet provided any information about the stabbing weapon. The agency is investigating an attempted homicide.
Police are looking for one or more attackers
According to initial findings, several people clashed on the Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer near the north bank on Monday around 5.30 p.m. According to the police, it is still unclear whether there were two groups or several attackers who attacked the 33-year-old.
